At the Robert Carter Property & Block Management company we understand that selling a property can be a stressful and time-consuming process and as much as it is sad to see someone leave, we are here to support.

When a property that is part of an estate is sold, whether it be leasehold or freehold, Solicitors working in the sale usually raise conveyancing enquiries and send these directly to the managing agent. Please note the lease may require the new leaseholder/homeowner to notify the landlord when the ownership of the property changes hands. The buyer’s solicitor will usually then send a notice of transfer to the landlord. We will ensure to respond promptly to Solicitor property enquiries and to follow the process in an efficient and professional manner.

At Robert Carter Property & Block Management we provide a Sellers Leasehold Information pack which includes all the information asked for by the Law Society in alongside RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and others. Information packs should be ordered by the seller as soon as possible from the commencement of the conveyancing process. We will provide a speedy response and aim to despatch packs within 2-3 working days from receipt of payment.

Within our Information pack we also detail which Notices and Certificates are required when a property is sold.

A Sellers Leasehold Information pack can be requested by writing to us with the enclosed fee and your contact details, including an email address where the pack can be sent to. Methods of payment include bank transfer and cheque. If you would like to pay by Bank Transfer, please contact us for details. Cheques should be made payable to Robert Carter Property Management Ltd.
